The protagonist of GTA 6 will be a Latina female, and the game will be set in a vice city-style Miami. Another report by Rockstar insiders said that GTA 6 launch is “two years away.” There is a rumor circulating that the first official trailer for GTA 6 will be launched in 2022, which doesn’t look true.
GTA 6 Leaks Reveals
In one of the significant breaches of data in the gaming industry, more than 90 videos were leaked on September 18, 2022. The duration of these ninety videos was fifty-three minutes and twenty-six seconds. This was early test footage. In the leaked footage, there were two characters named Jason and Lucia. The player can switch between both characters during the gameplay.
In one leaked video, both Jason and Lucia were holding up a diner. In another video, Lucia was standing in the open during the daytime, watching the traffic go by. Jason was also seen visiting a nightclub. After the leaked video surfaced, the alleged leaker was arrested.
The City police state that the suspect is seventeen years old. The suspect was presented in front of the court, where he pleaded ‘not guilty for two charges related to misuse of a computer. Two more charges of violating the bail were also added.
GTA 6 News
Leaks are a major setback for Rockstar, but still, they released a statement that there will be no changes in the plan. From now onwards, Rockstar will try to share the development progress with the community from time to time. Once the development process is completed, a proper introduction to the game will also be shared. On February 4 this year, Rockstar confirmed that GTA 6 is actively being developed.
The official support for Red Dead Online is being withdrawn with time, and these free resources will be used to speed up the development of GTA 6. This move came to make sure that the new title is up to the standard and it meets the expectations of players. Gameplay and Settings
The leaks of GTA 6 suggest that the gameplay will be similar to GTA 5 in many aspects. The footage showed that the protagonist was holding up a diner, and hostages were held at gunpoint. Any hostage who tried to run was shot in the back. To evade cops, both protagonists steal a car from the police. To shoot at the pursuit vehicle, Jason leaned out of the car with an assault rifle.
Some other leaked footage also showed the movement mechanics of the character. These include crawling, crouching, the cover system, etc. To avoid headshots, the character uses his hands or a weapon to cover his face and head. A new vision is also expected in GTA 6, similar to the Deadeye in RDR. To move across the city, there will be a Metro while cars and boats can be seen in the footage.
